AI Drafts. The Rep Handles the Conversation.
Sellers leave with prompts for research, prep, follow-up and proposals they can use on Monday’s calls.
Chris Sund delivers AI training for sales teams as a sales kickoff breakout, a sales meeting session or a hands-on workshop. Reps learn to use ChatGPT or Claude for account research before a call, meeting prep, follow-up emails, proposals and objection prep, with a five-part prompt anyone can learn and a person checking every draft. Then the session pairs it with the sales frameworks he taught to 800+ sellers at the Definitive Healthcare sales kickoff: LAARC for objections and LOCKS for knowing what a deal needs next.

Why are sales kickoffs booking AI sessions right now?
Every rep has been told to “use AI.” Most were never shown how. The result is two kinds of sellers: the ones who never open it, and the ones who send prospects generic messages that read like everyone else’s. Neither one sells more.
This session closes that gap in a way a sales leader can stand behind: AI takes the research, the first drafts and the admin, so reps spend more of the week in real conversations. It is practical, tool-neutral and built around the work a seller does between calls.
Prep time, not selling time
Reps lose hours to account research, call notes and proposals. That is the time AI gives back.
Relevance beats volume
Buyers ignore generic outreach. A specific message about their business, built from real research, gets answered.
Speed on follow-up
The rep who sends a clear recap and next step the same afternoon looks like the one worth buying from.
Judgment stays human
AI prepares the conversation. LAARC and LOCKS run it. Nothing goes to a buyer without the rep reading it first.
Six places AI gives sellers time back
The workshop is built on six areas. For a sales team, each one is rewritten around the work between calls. Each card links to a full guide with prompts.
Find Revenue
Find the accounts worth calling.
AI searches public news, hiring, expansions and funding for signals that a target account has a reason to talk now, and sorts them into ready to pursue and early signals. The rep decides who gets the call.
Read the guide→02Win Work
Turn a buyer request into a fast, useful reply.
Paste in an RFP or inbound email. AI lists what is missing, drafts the questions in order and a reply with a clear next step. Later it builds the proposal from pricing and terms your team already approved.
Read the guide→03Strengthen Your Website
Make sure buyers who look you up get it.
Before a meeting, buyers check your site. AI reviews it the way a buyer would and ranks the five fixes most likely to turn a visit into a booked call.
Read the guide→04Create Marketing
Turn one customer win into content reps can send.
One closed deal, with permission, becomes a short case story, a LinkedIn post, a follow-up email and a one-page sales sheet. Reps stop writing from a blank page.
Read the guide→05Organize Operations
Turn call notes into next steps.
Discovery notes or a call transcript become a recap email, an action list with owners and dates, and a CRM update, with the open questions flagged instead of guessed.
Read the guide→06Build Repeatable Processes
Capture what your best rep knows.
Your top seller talks through how they run a discovery call for ten minutes. AI turns it into a playbook the whole team can follow, with gaps marked for review.
Read the guide→Tell AI Five Things
Every prompt in the session follows the same five-part structure, so attendees can write their own after they leave. Here is how it reads for a seller. The full framework is on Tell AI Five Things: The Five-Part Prompt.
Role
Who is it?“Act as a sales researcher.”
Task
What should it do?“Prepare a call brief.”
Details
What should it know?“Use these CRM notes.”
Format
What should it make?“One page with three questions.”
Guardrails
What must it avoid?“Do not invent names or numbers.”
Role+Task+Details+Format+Guardrails
If the first result is weak, add the detail you left out.
Example: the pre-call brief
This is an example of how the five-part prompt reads for a seller preparing for a first meeting. Replace the bracketed text and paste your own notes at the bottom. AI does the research. The rep runs the call.
The human-review step: the rep opens every source, deletes anything that cannot be confirmed and rewrites the questions in their own words before the call. The brief prepares the conversation. It does not replace it.
More prompts from the workshop, grouped by the six areas, are in the free AI Prompt Library for Business Owners. No email required.
Where AI stops and the seller starts
The session draws a clear line. AI handles the preparation and the paperwork. The rep handles the conversation, using the two frameworks Chris teaches sales teams.
Objection prep with LAARC
AI lists the objections a buyer is likely to raise and the concern that may sit behind each. In the room, reps answer them with LAARC: Listen, Acknowledge, Ask, Respond, Confirm. AI can rehearse with them. It cannot hold the pause for them.
Deal reviews with LOCKS
AI organizes call notes against the five conditions in LOCKS: Love the Product, Own Belief, Confidence in You, Kickoff Plan and Stakes. The rep and manager decide which one is missing and what the next call is for.
Follow-up the same day
A recap, the agreed next step and the open questions, drafted from the rep’s own notes in minutes. The rep reads it, fixes it and sends it while the buyer still remembers the call.
Proposals from approved facts
AI builds the proposal document from scope, pricing and terms your team approved. It does not calculate, change or invent pricing, and a person signs off before it goes out.
Keynote, half day or full day
Delivered in person as an SKO breakout, a sales meeting session or a hands-on workshop for a sales team or the managers who coach it.
The six areas in one session
The framework, live examples from all six areas rewritten for your industry, and the Monday Morning close. Works as a general session or a breakout.
Hands-on with your own work
Attendees bring the tasks that eat their week and build their own prompts with the five-part framework, then test them on real examples from their own desks.
Teams build their own workflows
A hands-on workshop where teams build and test their own workflows across the six areas and leave with a written plan for who uses what, starting Monday.
Tailored to your sales motion
Before the event Chris asks what your reps sell, who they sell to and the objections they hear most, then rewrites the examples around your accounts, your proposals and your CRM notes.
The field guide
Attendees get the field guide with every prompt, the worksheets and a simple Monday plan. It is sent to the host as a PDF after the event to share with everyone in the room. Nothing on this site is gated.
Tool-neutral
Every prompt runs in ChatGPT or Claude, or in the tool your organization has already approved. No software to buy, no IT project, nothing to install.
Built for sales teams and the leaders who run them
The examples come from a sales and operating career, not a product demo, so the session works for new reps, veterans and the managers who coach them.

Proof: a sales kickoff stage and an AI session that has run live
Chris delivered Take Back Your Time with AI to close the MICA 2026 Fall Business Meetings in Omaha in October 2026 for the Midwest Insulation Contractors Association, and presents it at the NFBA Conference & Expo (National Frame Building Association) in Columbus, Ohio, February 8–10, 2027. Those two rooms are where the session was built: owners and managers with real work in front of them and no patience for hype.
The sales half of this session comes from the Definitive Healthcare Sales Kickoff in Boston, where Chris delivered You Are Capable of More: Sales to 800+ sales professionals and leaders, including objection handling through LAARC. Before healthcare staffing he spent ten years in restaurants and beverage, finishing as head of sales and marketing for a brewery.
Chris would be an incredible addition to any live audience. I’ve seen him speak multiple times, including our Sales Kickoff in front of 800+ people, which he crushed. Each time he finds a unique way to connect on both a personal and professional level.
Each time he finds a unique way to connect with his audience on both a personal and professional level keeping everyone engaged and attentive. He speaks about how he motivates others and what it takes to be successful in today’s corporate world.
What Sales Leaders Ask
Do attendees need AI experience?
No. The session starts with a five-part prompt anyone can learn and builds from there, so people who have never opened ChatGPT can follow along. People who already use AI leave with better prompts, guardrails and a way to check the results.
Which AI tools does the session use?
ChatGPT and Claude. Every prompt runs in either one, and Chris shows the work in both. If your organization has already approved a specific tool, the examples run in that instead. Nobody is asked to buy new software.
Is our data safe?
The session teaches guardrails for exactly that. Use the tool your company has approved, keep customer contracts, pricing and CRM exports out of public tools unless policy allows it, tell AI never to invent names, numbers or results, and have the rep read every draft before a buyer sees it.
Can it be tailored to our sales team?
Yes. Before the event Chris asks what your reps sell, who they sell to and the objections they hear most, then rewrites the examples around your accounts, proposals and sales process. It can be built for SaaS, healthcare, financial services or field sales teams.
Do you sell software?
No. Chris is COO of Nebula, an AI talent sourcing platform, which is part of why he uses these tools every day, but the session is tool-neutral and is not a pitch for Nebula or any other product.
Keynote or workshop: which should we book?
A keynote fits a general session or breakout: the six areas, live examples and one task to try Monday. A half-day or full-day workshop is hands-on, and teams build their own workflows on their own work. Many groups pair a conference keynote with a workshop for a smaller leadership or practitioner group. The full program is on Take Back Your Time with AI.
