MICA Fall Meetings
Take Back Your Time with AI — a live working session where members brought the tasks they would rather not be doing, and Chris handed as many of them as possible to tools any contractor can afford.

Four days.
One industry.
The Midwest Insulation Contractors Association brings together commercial and industrial insulation contractors, abatement contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and material supply firms from across the region. The Fall Business Meetings are where that membership does its real work: committee sessions, contractor forums, associate member tabletop displays, and a program built around what the industry is dealing with right now.
The 2026 meetings ran at the Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District, and Chris closed the program with a working session on putting AI to use inside a contracting business. Every attendee left with a copy of his book.

Take Back Your Time with AI: Practical Tools You Can Use Monday Morning
The session closed out the Fall Business Meetings. Members brought the tasks that never quite get done — the follow-ups, the proposals, the reports, the marketing that keeps sliding to next week — and Chris worked through real scenarios live, covering sales, marketing, operations and everyday busy work. Every attendee received a copy of You Are Capable of More.

Practical tools you can use Monday morning.
Every one of us has a list of work that never quite gets done. The follow-ups. The proposals. The reports. The marketing that keeps sliding to next week. This session is about handing a good share of that list to AI tools most companies can afford without a second thought.
It is not a lecture about where technology is headed. It is live and hands-on, built around what the room wants to see. Chris took real scenarios from members and worked through them in front of the room, covering sales, marketing, operations, and the everyday busy work that fills a calendar. Members brought their questions and the tasks they would rather not be doing themselves.
The Room Sets the Agenda
Real member scenarios worked through live, not a canned demo reel.
Tools You Can Actually Buy
Nothing custom, nothing enterprise. Software a contractor can turn on this week.
Sales, Marketing, Operations
Proposals, follow-ups, job postings, reports, and the paperwork behind the paperwork.
Monday Morning
You leave with something running, not a list of things to look into later.
What Attendees Took Away
A working list of the tasks in your week worth handing off first.
Prompts that hold up for proposals, follow-ups, and reports.
A clear read on which tools are worth paying for and which are noise.
One process you can put to work before the week starts.
Feedback from leaders in the room.
His topics are well researched, and he weaves in practical tips and real-life examples that make every session realistic and relatable.
Chris consistently brings knowledge, insight, and practical advice to every presentation, elevating the value he brings to every engagement.
I always have takeaways to put into action after Chris’ sessions. He cares deeply about uplifting the entire profession.

You Are Capable of More.
Every attendee at the Fall Business Meetings went home with a copy. You Are Capable of More is the bestselling book behind the work Chris does on stage — ten principles for closing the gap between what you are doing and what you are actually capable of.
The AI session is about giving you your hours back. The book is about what you do with them. It is built for leaders who keep hitting the same ceiling with their people and their week, and cannot work out whether the problem is the talent, the system, or themselves.

You Are Capable of More.
Chris is the author of the bestselling You Are Capable of More. Copies can be bundled for attendees, and Chris can run a signing table in the exhibit hall — which drives traffic for your sponsors.

Established in 1956, MICA represents commercial and industrial insulation contractors, abatement contractors, manufacturers, distributors and material supply firms across the Midwest. It is the association that created the National Commercial and Industrial Insulation Standards Manual, now in its sixth edition and used as a reference across the industry.
MICA is affiliated with the National Insulation Association and five sister regional associations, and holds semi-annual meetings where members share technical and educational information. The Fall Business Meetings bring the membership together in Omaha alongside committee work, a vendor tabletop reception and the keynote program.
