When people ask Chris where he is from, they are usually surprised by the answer. Fremont, Nebraska. He grew up in that small rural town and still lives there today with his family.

Over the years he saw firsthand how hard it can be for rural facilities to find a specialized healthcare worker. Most of them are some of the friendliest places you could work, but their location makes hiring a constant struggle. He believes every patient deserves excellent care no matter where they live.

That is what created his passion for healthcare staffing. Over nearly a decade he moved from recruiter to client manager to sales manager to director, and now serves as President and COO across three organizations. Those experiences shaped how he leads today, and they are why his message lands with organizations working through growth, change, and workforce problems.

Chris is the founder of Amplify Speakers, a national speaker bureau that connects event planners with speakers across leadership, culture, resilience, sales, and healthcare. The roster is built around people who can hold a room and send an audience home with something they can actually use.

He also hosts the Amplify Speakers Podcast, where he interviews executives, top performers, and thought leaders about leadership, growth, and what it takes to succeed right now.

Those conversations feed the work. Chris gets a real-time read on what teams are facing and brings it straight to the stage, so audiences get proven ideas from leaders across industries instead of one person’s perspective.

Chris keynotes association conferences, executive forums, leadership workshops, and company events across the country. He has spoken for the American Health Care Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives, for NAHCR and the Association of Occupational Health Professionals in Healthcare, and for rural hospital associations including the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals and the Rural Health Association of Utah. He works regularly with state healthcare associations, including LeadingAge Illinois and the Iowa, South Dakota, Colorado, and Montana health care associations. Closer to home, he has led leadership development sessions for the Greater Omaha Chamber. He is also a Maxwell Leadership certified speaker, trainer, and coach.

His signature keynote is You Are Capable of More, built on the ten principles in his book. It is a talk about personal ownership, the self doubt that quietly runs the show for most people, and finally doing the thing you keep putting off. It is the program most audiences ask for first.

The rest of his work branches out from there into the themes he lives in every day. He speaks on resilience and performance, which comes down to how people handle pressure and setbacks without dropping their standard, and on leadership, which he frames as earning trust, holding a line, and developing the people you are responsible for. He speaks on sales, where most of the difference comes from handling objections well and doing the follow up other people skip.

He speaks on culture, which is where retention actually lives, because the decision to stay or leave usually gets made by a direct manager long before anyone fills out an exit survey. He works with teams on building enough trust to do hard work together, with healthcare organizations on patient experience and the small moments with staff that shape what a patient remembers about their care, and with executives on building a company people want to work for, so that recruiting stops being a fight.
