All-Hands & Town Hall Speaker

Everyone in One Room. One Message They Keep.

Chris Sund speaks at company all-hands meetings, town halls, quarterly business meetings and annual employee meetings. He is the outside voice that says what leadership means in a way the whole company hears: ownership, culture and what each person controls. He is also a sitting executive, President and COO of Uniti Med and GQR Healthcare and COO of Nebula, so he knows what an all-hands is supposed to accomplish because he needs his own to work.

Where Companies Book Chris for an All-Hands

An all-hands is the one time every function hears the same thing at the same time. Most of the agenda is updates. Chris is the part people talk about afterward.

Quarterly & Annual All-Hands

A 45 to 60 minute keynote between the business update and recognition, built around the theme leadership is driving this year.

Town Halls After Change

After a reorganization, an acquisition, new leadership or a hard year: an honest session on ownership and what people still control, not a pep talk.

Annual Employee Meetings

The once-a-year gathering for the whole workforce, often paired with awards. See annual company meetings.

Fast-Growing Companies

When headcount is climbing and the culture is being decided by new people every week. Chris built a company through 10x growth on its core brand.

Why Do So Many All-Hands Meetings Fall Flat?

Most all-hands meetings are a run of slides: revenue, priorities, a few new names, a round of applause. People attend, check messages and go back to work. The message leadership most wanted to land, usually about ownership, pace or how the company treats its people, comes from the same voices people hear every week and gets filed as more of the same.

An outside speaker changes how the room listens. Chris takes the theme leadership chose and makes it personal: what ownership looks like in an ordinary week, how small moments between managers and their people decide whether anyone stays, and why most people are capable of more than they are doing. He builds the session with your executive team on a planning call, so it reinforces your message instead of competing with it.

  • The Power of Small Moments: the everyday manager behaviors that decide culture and retention

  • How to keep going when the year is hard, without pretending it is not
  • One commitment each person writes down before they leave the room

Proof: Company Meetings, Kickoffs and Recognition Events

At BeatStars, the digital marketplace where music producers and independent creators sell their work, Chris delivered the keynote at the company meeting in May 2026: You Are Capable of More and the EDGE framework, built for a team that ships product every week.

Chris delivered You Are Capable of More: Sales at the Definitive Healthcare Sales Kickoff in Boston, to 800+ sales professionals and leaders. The session covered a consistency system, objection handling through LAARC, rejection resilience, ownership of the number and conviction that transfers.

He has also spoken at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital Employee Recognition Dinner in Denison, Iowa, the kind of whole-organization event where the keynote has to land for every role in the building.

Where the Keynote Fits on an All-Hands Agenda

Chris works around your agenda, not the other way around. Three formats that work well:

The Midpoint Keynote

Business update first, then the keynote, then recognition and Q&A. The keynote turns the numbers into what they mean for each person, and the awards that follow land harder.

The Opening Keynote

For a town hall after a change, opening with the keynote sets the tone before leadership walks through what is changing and why. Chris covers ownership and what people control, then hands the stage to your CEO.

The Keynote and Manager Session

The all-hands keynote for everyone, then a half-day leadership workshop for managers the same afternoon, so the people who carry the message back to their teams practice it first.

The EDGE Framework

Four habits Chris taught at the BeatStars company meeting, built so every role can apply them the next day.

E

Embrace Ownership

Own the outcome, not just the task. Stop waiting for permission on the things that are already yours.

D

Dare to Stretch

Pick the thing slightly past what you think you can do. Most people stop right where growth starts.

G

Generate Momentum

Small wins, stacked daily. Momentum is built in ordinary weeks, not announced at all-hands meetings.

E

Elevate Others

The best performers make the people around them better. Culture is the sum of those small moments.

Programs for All-Hands Meetings and Town Halls

Every session is built with your leadership team around the message you need the company to hear.

You Are Capable of More

The signature keynote on potential and ownership, framed for your company and your year.

The Power of Small Moments

How everyday interactions between managers and their people shape culture, trust and retention.

People Quit People, Not Companies

Why people stay or leave, and what every manager controls.

You Are Capable of a Better Culture

The culture keynote: the culture you have is the one you allowed, and how to change it.

Your Team Is Capable of More

Team performance and trust, as a keynote or a working session for leaders.

Leading Through Change

For town halls after a reorganization, acquisition or leadership change.

Formats

Each program runs as a keynote, a half-day workshop or a full-day workshop. A common all-hands format is the keynote for the whole company followed by a working session for managers the same day.

General Session

Keynote

The all-hands keynote for everyone in the room, 45 to 60 minutes, built around the theme leadership chose.

Workshop

Half Day

The keynote plus a working session for managers on carrying the message back to their teams.

Workshop

Full Day

A full leadership day alongside the all-hands for the managers and directors who set the culture.

What All-Hands Planners Ask

How long should the speaker slot be at an all-hands?

Usually 45 to 60 minutes. Shorter than 30 minutes rarely leaves room for a story and a framework people remember; longer than an hour competes with the rest of your agenda. Chris will fit the slot you have.

Can one keynote work for every department at once?

Yes. That is the point of an all-hands. The material is about ownership, culture and what each person controls, so engineering, sales, operations and support each hear something they can use, and they hear it together.

We just went through a reorganization or layoffs. Is a keynote appropriate?

It can be, if it is honest. A session that pretends everything is fine will cost leadership credibility. Chris does not pretend. He focuses on what people still control and what leaders owe the people who stayed, and he plans it with your executive team so it fits what they will say.

How do you make sure the keynote matches our message?

A planning call with your CEO or executive sponsor before the event. Chris asks what the company needs to hear this year, what has been said already and what the room is skeptical about, then builds the session around that.

Can remote employees join?

Yes. Many all-hands meetings are streamed to remote and hybrid staff, and the keynote works for both rooms. Chris delivered the BeatStars company meeting keynote to a distributed team. Workshops are in person.

Can every employee get a copy of the book?

Yes. Companies often give You Are Capable of More to every employee after the all-hands. See bulk book orders for pricing and signed editions.
