2026 Paris Book Festival
You Are Capable of More took the top spot in the How-To category at the 2026 Paris Book Festival, an international competition that judges books from major publishers, independent presses and self-published authors side by side.
How-To is the category for books that set out to teach readers how to do something and then give them the means to do it. Every chapter ends with actions to take that day, and a closing Playbook turns the book into a plan readers keep using.
2026 Firebird Book Awards
You Are Capable of More was named a third-place winner in the Personal Growth category of the International Firebird Book Awards, announced in October 2026 for the third quarter of the year.
Each Firebird category is judged on its own criteria by two independent judges, and up to three winners are named in order of their combined scores. Placing in Personal Growth puts the book exactly where it belongs: among the titles that help people become who they are capable of being.

An award that gives back. Firebird entry fees fund handmade pillowcases and children’s books sent to women and children living in long-term shelters, so this one did some good before the results were ever announced.
