Imagine how different the world would be if even 10% of Fortune 500 CEOs understood the power of a motivated workforce?

MAYBE THEN WE WOULDN’T HAVE…

→ 77% of employees burned out

→ 79% disengaged at work

→ 88% of leaders running low on EQ

A lack of motivation is a business problem, a health problem, and a human problem.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Let’s Start With The Fun Stuff

Life in our house is never boring. With three boys, there’s always a ballgame, a practice, or some sporting event to watch—and I love being in the stands cheering them on. When we’re not hanging out with the boys, we like to stay active with bike rides, walks, and workouts. But my favorite place to be is on the water. Boating, wake surfing, or really any excuse to get out in the sun. My wife, Courtney, is a respiratory therapist (and the real MVP at home), and together we’ve built a life that’s equal parts family, hard work, and making memories.

Small Town Beginnings

When people ask me where I’m from, they’re usually surprised when I answer, “Fremont, Nebraska.” I grew up in this small rural town, and it’s the town I still live in today with my amazing family..

Over the years, I have witnessed first-hand how hard it can be to find a specialized healthcare worker when you need one, especially in rural areas. Most of these facilities are some of the friendliest and best places you could work in, but due to their location they struggle to find the help they need. I believe that every patient deserves the same excellent care, no matter where they live. It’s why it’s so important to me that we do everything we can to bring awareness to these needs, and team up with amazing healthcare professionals that are willing to make a difference.

This is what created my passion for healthcare staffing. For nearly the last decade, I have worked in the industry, advancing from recruiter to client manager, to sales manager to director. I now serve as President/COO at Uniti Med & GQR Healthcare, two healthcare staffing companies with a mission to provide staffing services with heart.

Why Me?

I have been in various leadership roles over the last 20 years in a variety of industries. In my current role as President/COO of Uniti Med and GQR Healthcare, we have had hypergrowth of 10x in the last few years and garnered multiple prestigious awards. These include: Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America, Fortune Magazine’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare, ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing – Talent Satisfaction, BluePipes – The Best Travel Nursing Companies, Best Places to Work in Omaha, and Best Staffing Firms to Work For by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA).

I am also active in healthcare staffing events and organizations across the country. I am a member of the Board of Directors of NATHO (National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations), involved in NAHCR (National Association of Health Care Recruitment) and I was honored in Midland’s Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. I’m also a member of Greater Omaha Chamber’s CODE (Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity, and Equity) for CEOs.

Almost 20 years ago, I picked up a copy of John Maxwell’s “21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership”. I was a young manager, and was eager to learn how to improve in my role. This book created the spark that led to my passion towards leadership development. Fast forward to today, and I made the choice to become part of the Certified Maxwell Leadership Team as a speaker, trainer, and coach. It’s my mission to help others become the best version of themselves.

John Maxwell has been one of the world’s foremost speakers and leadership development experts for more than 40 years. His leadership principles are time-tested and world-renowned. And as a Maxwell Leadership certified speaker, coach, and trainer I can bring those principles to life for you.
